updates
after a long wait, here are pics, and race updates.
as of 8/3/08, the abq outlaw series has begun, we have already finished 2 out of 15 races already, and there is much more fun in the future. in the first race, which i call going down the jordan, took place on a street called jordan, where gabe took first, devon took 2nd and bear took 3rd. two weeks later, on 8/17/08, the downhill bighorn outlaw took place. this is a race with some strange ups and downs, and a tight left turn at the end, where the crashes took place. the first was andrew, a new racer with his dregs, he went into the turn, he slid out, and landed on his bum and his hands, and he slid on them both all the way off the street, and into the dirt. the second wipeout was more intense. jory went into the to fast, and he couldnt make the turn, so he went off the road and into the dirt, where he then hit a tree and literally flew. no injuries, lucky me. bear took 1st, devon 2nd, gabe 3rd. great races, both were lots of fun. up next: banked slalom in the harper ditch, after that: team time trials. hope to see you there!
